Annie Lennox
| Annie Lennox born December 25 in 1954. She was born in Aberdeen Scotland. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the full name given to her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute as well as harpsichord at Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. Lennox made it through on a student's stipend working part-time in order to help supplement her income. Lennox made the decision to alter her path in life when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience and lack of talent the same way as other Royal Academy students. Lennox started out as a flute-player in the band Dragons Playground. However she left when the band was featured on I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. The main part of her role was the lead singer in The Tourists from 1977 until the year 1980. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox was later able to record her solo debut album Diva. The album came out in 1992. It received lots of praise from the press and critics. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album debuted in October of 2014. The C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favorite soul, jazz and blues songs from her youth. Lepidoptera came out by Lennox on May 19, 2019. It is a collection consisting of four tracks improvised. The E.P. The E.P. is her first independent album and a companion to her art work created at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You Go... Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is a Scottish politician and singer. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to achieve international fame in 1980s with the Eurythmics. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992, with an album titled Diva. It included a number of famous songs like Walking on Broken Glass and Why. Medusa is the album she recorded as her first studio album in 1995. It has covers of some songs, including No MoreI love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with seven studio albums by herself and a compilation. |
